Here’s where you come in:

As Senior Advisor, Policy & Partnerships, Violence Against Children, you will lead World Vision external advocacy and play a critical role in our five year global advocacy campaign to end violence against children. They will be responsible for positioning child protection as a prominent priority within the global development agenda, advocating for policy changes at the multilateral level, developing policy briefings and collaborating with internal & external stakeholders to support change at the global, regional and national levels. You will also ensure World Vision's evidence base is utilised to position the organisation and influence external policy and funding outcomes.

Requirements include:

  • Masters Degree in social work, international relations, international development or law, human rights law. Ability to write to a publishable standard.
  • Strong analytical and research skills and proven ability to convert complex information into succinct, targeted briefings and other applied documents.
  • At least 10 years experience in leading child protection work either within government, regional or multilateral institutions or in a peer NGO.
  • Effective in written and verbal communication in English and preferably French.
  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
