Our Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs team acts to save lives and alleviate suffering of disaster-affected people by implementing sustainable programmes focused on meeting immediate and long-term needs.

Response Context:

World Vision is currently seeking professionals to join our global humanitarian response in Kurdish Region Iraq (KRI) for Mosul, who are passionate about protecting lives, restoring dignity and renewing hope, especially among children affected by conflict.

Here’s where you come in:

As Health Specialist, you will provide support in the development, planning, implementation and monitoring of health projects for the Mosul Response.

Requirements:

  • Medical qualification, such as MD/MBBS, Nurse, Midwife, Nutritionist and/or public health qualification (international health) such as BPH or MPH
  • 3 years of home country experience in a developing country in managing Disaster Response and Preparedness programs in public health involving assessments, design, planning, implementation, budgeting, reporting, and evaluation and monitoring.
  • Ability to travel across the governorates regularly for training, assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation
  • English proficiency required. Knowledge of Arabic and Kurdish an advantage.
