Response Context:
World Vision is currently seeking professionals to join our global humanitarian response in Kurdish Region Iraq (KRI) for Mosul, who are passionate about protecting lives, restoring dignity and renewing hope, especially among children affected by conflict.
Here’s where you come in:
As Last Mobile Mile Solutions (LMMS) Specialist, you will have responsibility for the LMMS registration and distribution tasks for beneficiaries. Originally developed as a tool for beneficiary registration, verification, and commodity distribution planning and management; LMMS is also emerging as an important platform to provide last mile technology services that underpin cash transfer and programming capabilities.
Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in logistics, supply chain management or related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of international experience working in humanitarian aid delivery, logistics or supply chain management.
- At least 5 years of experience working in major international disaster responses involving large scale distributions.
- Experience working in various technical sectors of humanitarian response such as WASH, Shelter, Health and Protection. Etc.
- English proficiency required. Knowledge of Arabic and Kurdish an advantage.
