As Spiritual Nurture of Children & Programming Advisor you will provide technical advice, guidance and expertise for the design, integration and strategic implementation of contextualised Spiritual Nurture of Children (SNC) policies for World Vision globally. You will give technical support to develop monitoring and evaluation metrics in the spiritual nurture of children and youth that are an integral part of World Vision's global Child Well-Being Objectives. You will also provide guidance for the integration of SNC and Youth (SNC/Y) in WV organisational processes, strategies and programming; along with technical guidance in integrating spiritual nurture of children and youth programming in all project models.
Requirements include:
- Graduate degree in child development, development studies, theological studies or related fields or equivalent work experience.
- 7 years experience working directly with children of all ages and development stages, their parents and the communities in which they live in international and cross-cultural settings.
- 5-7 years experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on projects and processes within organisations and communities.
- Strong ability to train others in one or more of the following areas: holistic child development, child theology, social science or similar disciplines.
- Fluent in written and spoken business and narrative English
