Work Assignment:
Thailand- specific:
Providing continuation of hands-on daily support of implementation of external F2F agencies and in-house operations;Providing continuation of coaching and guidance to interim F2F focal points;Providing relevant administrative support as required.All Country Offices (Thailand, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia):
Providing technical input and guidance: training and coach facers, team leaders and F2F focal points; advising on site management; review of materials and collaterals; input on incentive schemes; review processes and back-end systems to improve efficiencies in donor fulfilment and servicing;Analyzing and reviewing reports (agency and in-house) and providing recommendations for areas of improvement;Identifying and supporting the implementation of best practice F2F techniques based on UNICEF's global networks and experience.RSC:
Providing assessment of overall F2F performance by market; identifying potential issues and potential new opportunities;Recommending new strategies or ways to overcome barriers to F2F programme;Updating on any market developments on new suppliers and charity/NGO sector status.End Product(s):
Weekly or bi-weekly update meetings with the Regional Fundraising Specialist to review status and agree on priorities;Trip Report after each country visit which will include status of performance, activities that took place and recommendations.Overall final report (1-2 page/country) on KPI's, observations, and defined set of recommendations for each country on going forward in 2017 and beyond.
Estimated Duration of Contract: 6 months over the period of February – July 2017.
Official Travel: The consultant will work at UNICEF Bangkok, with travel to India, Philippines, Malaysia, as agreed by the Supervisor and country office.
Qualifications or Specialized Knowledge/Experience Required:
University degree in related field, i.e. Marketing, Communication, preferredFiveyears of relevant experience in the Face-to-Face fundraising and Face-to-Face management at an agency or ideally from in-house operationsHands-on experience in face-to-face fundraising or direct sales marketing is requiredGood organizational and communications (oral and written) skillsAbility to analyze and attention to detailsService-minded and good interpersonal skillsTact, discretion, self-starter and good judgmentAbility to work under minimum supervisionAbility to handle and complete multiple tasks within deadlinesGood knowledge of computer applications
